In each of the forums, we will talk about religion – openly, candidly, and respectfully. Knowledgeable representatives of Judaism, Christianity, and Islam will share their views on topics of crucial importance to each religious tradition. The forums will afford an inside glimpse into each of the three religions, highlighting both similarities and differences.

Following each panel, audience members will be encouraged to ask questions and participate in the search for deeper understanding and practical solutions.

Judaism, Christianity, and Islam consider Abraham as a common ancestor. The three traditions are less unified in their view of Sarah and Hagar, the women in Abraham’s family. In fact, these two remarkable women mark the beginnings of the separate paths embraced by the Jewish, Christian, and Muslim communities. At the same time, Sarah and Hagar have played a crucial role in shaping the understanding of the multi-faceted role of women in the three traditions.
