Janna Gosselin is the Academic Dean and Professor of Christian Spirituality at the New Theological Seminary of the West.

Before entering the field of religious studies, Dr. Gosselin studied law at the USC Gould School of Law, and had a successful career practicing law at both a major international law firm in downtown Los Angeles and a law firm in Beverly Hills.

Her change in vocation form law to the academic study of religion began with Dr. Gosselin’s graduate studies in English at USC. In collaboration with the faculty in the USC School of Religion, she earned her Ph.D. with a dissertation on Julian of Norwich, the famous 14th century Roman Catholic English mystic. In addition to her doctoral work, Dr. Gosselin also completed a Master’s degree in theology at Fuller Theological Seminary.

Dr. Gosselin teaches at USC, in addition to her position as Academic Dean and Professor of Christian Spirituality at the New Theological Seminary of the West.
