This book has been called a classic of live dialogue between representatives of Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. Published in 1994, it is the fruit of 20 years of pioneering interfaith work by the Academy for Judaic, Christian, and Islamic Studies.
The Abraham Connection was co-authored by the late Dr. George Grose, co-founder and former President of the Academy, Dr. Muzammil Siddiqi, also former President of the Academy’s Board of Directors, and Dr. David Gordis who before his retirement served as President of Hebrew College and as Vice-President of the American Jewish University. Dr. Benjamin Hubbard, Professor Emeritus of Comparative Religion at at California State University, Fullerton, served as editor for the volume.
