Winston Gee

Winston Gee is a graduate student in theoretical chemistry at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). He graduated from Westmont College in Santa Barbara where he studied mathematics and chemistry within a Christian liberal arts context. At Westmont, he annually participated in and led week-long experiences in Salt Lake City centered around interfaith dialogue. He found these experiences refreshing, and they imparted an enthusiasm for nuanced conversations among people from differing faith backgrounds.

 Winston is cultivating such a community of graduate students at UCLA who likewise desire to meaningfully connect across their faith traditions through regular discussions and scripture study. He recognizes the importance of humbly seeking to understand one another as a form of neighborly love.

Winston enjoys caring for a garden, exploring the city on walks, and sharing meals with family and friends.
